Definition and meaning:-
to look for (को देखने के लिए) = to try to find, to search for
We should be used “to look at” for trying to find. An adverb phrase such as all over can be put between the verb and preposition, as in the second example, however, the idiom cannot be separated by a noun or pronoun.
Remember this example:-
She’s spent over three hours looking for the pen that he lost.
So there you are! We’ve looked all over for you.
